Notification of Yorkshire Alpine Ski Squad 2012 Selection Dates

I would like to inform you that this year we will be selecting a Yorkshire Alpine Ski Squad for both

development of racers within the region and for competing in inter-regional competitions. This year's Dry

Slope Inter-regional event will be held at Sunderland Ski Centre on 8th July 2012.

I would like to invite you to the Yorkshire Alpine Ski Squad selection day which will be held at Xscape

(Castleford) on Sunday the 29th April at 13.15 (estimated finish time of 16.00). Those selected into the

squad from this event will remain squad members until September 2013. Please note that for those of you

unable to attend this date, there will be a second selection date in September (details to follow).

As of April 2012, SnowLife will be run on the first Sunday of every month. For this reason SnowLife

that would have occured at the end of march has now been cancelled.

Lions Ski Club

Mini Mayhem is back for a sixth year. The Mini Mayhem Race Ladder is a fun race ladder for those kids 12 and under.

The event is a slalom plus obstacle course designed for young skiers.
